This month Paul Heaberlin is talking about Java Content Repositories
like Apache Jackrabbit and the like. I’m looking forward to it as JCRs
promise to give your app’s content versioning, full text search, etc.
It should be good.

Also, as a bonus, Matt Secoske noticed the OJUG, ODUG, Cold Fushion,
Perl Mongers, UNO’s Perl class, and (not confirmed yet) .NETug are all
having meetings on Tuesday, so he’s setting up a shared post-meeting
holiday party. If you have some time afterwards, instead of the
usual downtown Old Chicago hang out, we will be venturing to:

  • Brazenhead just north of 78th & Dodge at 8:00pm

Rumor has it drinks will be taken care of.

streaming our meeting plus some of the others:
