    May 20th - Next Meeting

We are just a week away from the next OJUG meeting. This month our speaker will be Scott Hickey with a talk entitled:

    Groovy is Java
Most presentations about Groovy highlight many of the similarities between Groovy and other dynamic languages such as Ruby and Smalltalk. However, Groovy’s design goal was not to replace Java or be a JVM implementation of an existing language. Its target audience is the Java developer and its goal is to augment the toolbox of Java developer. In this talk, Scott will talk about the various ways that Groovy *is* Java.
